It is hard to believe that eight months of the year have passed by ……. In a FLASH!
Throughout this period – just as with 2022 – our eleven-strong team has been heads down fettling our customers` cars to ensure their reliability whether for local use, long-distance blasts or even obtaining First in Class in the Liege-Brescia-Liege rally (Congratulations to Nigel in his WinSpeed-restored Jaguar XK150 3.8 Roadster!). Jaguar E-Types, Jaguar XKs and Jaguar Mk1 and Mk2 Saloons have been coming and going all year.
Full restorations are an important part of the WinSpeed operation and we have three current and three recently completed. In depth maintenance, fault-finding and rectification is of course the core of the business and we continue to succeed in transforming our customers` cars.
Whilst WinSpeed weathered the COVID `storm` it played havoc with the smooth-running of our well-planned processes. Various sub-contractors were unable to operate in tandem with ourselves, some were working under-staffed, but as best as possible and other, very sadly, went out of business. We had, in effect, two lost years (as did everybody) and these major restorations experienced huge delays – fortunately now back on track.
A very big `Thank you`, however, to our loyal customers and fantastic staff for supporting us and also just getting on with the jobs in hand.
Now we get ready for exhibiting `Over the Road` – Stand 346 as last year – at The Goodwood Revival. SEE YOU THERE!
